The Baroque Band is delighted to have been asked to play at
the Summer Concert Series at St Matthew’s and hopes
that this too will become another regular
spot!
The
Baroque Band was originally formed by Richard De La Rue and
Steve Taylor, owner of the Cock and Bull, where the
Band has a regular spot on the third Monday of every month
from 7 until 9 p.m..
The Band gives great opportunities to anyone who would like
to perform a solo in the relaxed environment of the pub and
now takes players from a list of over 140.
The Band has become so popular that it is quite normal for
the Christmas special in particular (and of course when
David Le Page joins us!) that entry into the pub is 'one
in, one out'!!
